A taste of St. Patrick's Day comes early Sunday; Celtic Concert at 5 p.m.

WILMINGTON, NC (NEWS RELEASE) -- Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Chris Norman on boxwood flutes, wondrously demonstrates that classical and folk need not be separate entities!

The agile “fluting” of Norman strikes a deep expressive quality, bringing out the heart of each piece. He has appeared on more than 40 recordings including the Oscar winning soundtrack of Titanic and the Stone of Destiny.

Together with acclaimed baroque violinist and superb fiddler, David Greenburg, they magically bring to life the energetic dance music of Maritime Canada, Scotland and Ireland.

Tickets are $20. Student and active military discounts available through the Kenan Box Office.

The concert is Sunday at 5 p.m. at St. Thomas Preservation Hall on Dock Street.
