WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are investigating after they say they found several windows broken and the front door of a Wilmington church unlocked early this morning.

Just after midnight, they say an alarm sounded at 2166 Dexter Street, which matches the address for Greater Morning Star Apostolic of Wilmington.

Police say when they got to the scene, they found several broken windows and the front door to the church unlocked. Officers say though there were signs someone went through an office desk inside, no items were reported missing at the time of the crime.

If this is the man/story you are asking about…the weather wasn’t allowing a pursuit of this guy “Speeding Away to the Wild Blue Yonder”. But he did crash the car he was driving and luckily there wasn’t anyone hurt that was innocent.
But….If you have any information on where Gibides is, call law enforcement!!!!
The ball in now in YOUR court folks! Look for a large amount of candy wrappers laying about…and you may have found his trail, and if you do….call law enforcement.

You have to hope there is a special place in Hell for those that would break into a church.
