Alleged child molester flees to Syracuse

ONSLOW COUNTY, NC (NEWS RELEASE) -- On January 21, 2014, victims disclosed multiple sexual assaults. The crimes occurred between January and December 2013 while Kirk D. Macleod lived at his Jacksonville address.

After Macleod learned of this investigation he packed up his personal belongings and fled to Syracuse, New York. Arrestee Macleod was located and taken into custody by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and was later extradited back to Onslow County where he is incarcerated in the Onslow County Jail without the benefit of a bond.

This case is still under investigation.

If he is found guilty and it looks that way since he ran, he is nothing more than common trash. Don't mess with children.

He didn't run. He took his son back to New York and Went to the VA Hospital, He told them what happened and after a month in the VA hospital they turned him over to the police. Suffers from Brain Damage.

Unfortunately, he will never adequately pay for his crimes.
