WILMINGTON, NC (StarNewsOnline.com) — It’s official. “Max Steel,” a new film based on the popular Mattel action hero, is officially headed to Wilmington this spring.
Production on the film is expected to start April 21 and last around five weeks, Johnny Griffin with the Wilmington Regional Film Commission confirmed Friday.
The film stars Ben Winchell (Disney’s “A.N.T Farm”) as 16-year-old Max McGrath, who combines tremendous new powers with his alien companion Steel to form the turbo-charged superhero Max Steel. Ana Villafane will costar as Sydney Gardner.

More darlings of the Disney channel?
Gee when will THEY take their clothes off ala Vanessa whats her name..

While I’m all for filming just don’t pay them to do it. They did it without incentives for years !!!

Targeted incentives don’t work. A more business friendly tax structure is far better at attracting company’s to our area.
its time to end film incentives
