BOLIVIA, NC (NEWS RELEASE) -- The Brunswick County Republican Women (BCRW) will sponsor the NC 7 “First in the District” Republican Congressional District Primary Candidates’ Debate on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, from 7-9 PM at the Brunswick County Association of Realtors’ Conference Center, 101 Stone Chimney Rd., Supply.
The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6. Helen Pannullo, President of the Brunswick County Republican Women will moderate the debate, with several Republican Women serving on the panel of questioners. All Republican candidates for the 7th District U.S. Congressional seat will participate—Chris Andrade, David Rouzer, and Woody White. Topics will include immigration, budget/national debt, economy/jobs, foreign affairs, national defense, health care, and more.
In making the announcement of the Debate, Helen Pannullo, BCRW President, stated, “As we did in 2012, the Brunswick County Republican Women are very excited to host this informative public event. This is the community’s first opportunity to see all the Republican candidates face to face, hear them express their positions on the critical issues of the day, and compare and contrast each candidate. We encourage all residents in our area to come and enjoy the evening, regardless of their political affiliation. Our ultimate goal is to have as many informed voters in the 7th Congressional district as possible.”
Other Republican candidates from the Brunswick County will be on hand before and after the event to meet the public.
