Meth operation busted in Brunswick County

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- After getting a tip, the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Vice-Narcotics Unit arrested four people for making meth at 8987 Black Chestnut Drive in Leland Sunday.

Tiffany Nichole Strickland, 26, Houston Lee Herring, 25, and James Davis Downer, III, 30, are accused of distributing meth and having the chemicals to make the drug. They are being held in the Brunswick County Detention Facility, each under a $1 million bond.

James Timothy Suggs, Jr., 23, is charged with making meth, and having drug paraphernalia. Suggs is also in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $20,000 bond.

The Sheriff's Office asked the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Clandestine Laboratory Unit to help with the investigation.
