Police search for suspects after four hurt in Prices Lane shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Wilmington Police are on the scene of shooting on Prices Lane.

Officers responded to 3813 Prices Lane after calls came into 911 about the shooting. When police arrived they found one female with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Witnesses say it all started around 4:30 p.m. when a large crowd at the house began fighting and yelling, according to police. A few minutes later shots were fired.

While police were arriving at the hospital with the first victim, three more victims showed up with gunshot wounds. Investigators say none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.

Police are looking for a burgundy mid-size vehicle with three or four black males in it. The vehicle was last seen heading towards Mosley Ave. The driver of the vehicle is described as wearing short dreads.

So I will never again volunteer to build a house for habatat for humanity if they are going to let thugs and gang members live in their houses. Prices street is mostly habatat houses given to people who either won't work or sell drugs. Said but that's is what comes from people who have no incentive to work since they get it free.

Guess none of these porch sitters have jobs to be there during working hours.

I can't believe what I just heard the young lady say, when asked about the shooting. She's used to it because she has been in a shooting before. She's just glad she wasn't in this one.
It's sad when people are 'used to' this kind of violence. And sick.
