BOLIVIA, NC (WWAY) — Opening arguments in the trial for a man charged with a 2012 murder will have to wait until next week.

District Attorney Jon David says Richard Grissett’s trial has been put off until Monday after the judge called in sick. Opening arguments were to have begun this morning after jury selection finished late yesterday afternoon David said.

Grissett, 53, is charged with murdering Linne Mae Ward, 86, during a burglary at her home in the Longwood Community on Nov. 13, 2012.
