WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Wilmington Police are looking for three people involved in robbing a food delivery driver over the weekend.

WPD spokeswoman Linda Rawley says it happened around 11 p.m. Friday after the driver made a delivery to 119 Dapple Ct. The victim told police as he went back to his car he was jumped by two men who forced him against a wall and took his wallet and cash from his pockets.

The victim described the suspects as a short, husky white male, bald in his mid 30s, and a taller, skinny black male, who was slightly older than the other man, maybe in his 40s, wearing a NASCAR hat. The victim said a white female was a lookout during the attack, but he could not provide a description of her. He said the three suspects ran west on Dapple Ct. to get away.

The driver told police he did not think the person he delivered food to had any knowledge of or involvement in the crime.
