MORRISVILLE, NC (AP) — A Delta Air Lines flight heading for Atlanta was diverted to Raleigh-Durham International Airport after the crew noticed some vibration after takeoff.

Flight 2339 left from Reagan National Airport in Washington. A statement from the airline said out of an abundance of caution, the crew decided to divert the MD-88 to RDU. It landed around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Spokesman Morgan Durrant said the source of the vibration was a landing gear door that was slightly ajar. Durrant said the door was adjusted and the flight continued to its destination with the same crew and aircraft.

There were 149 passengers and seven crew members on board the flight.
