New Hanover mobile home damaged in fire

WILMINGTON, NC (StarNewsOnline.com) -- A mobile home at 7006 Chewning St. in northern New Hanover County was a total loss after a fire Thursday afternoon, a county fire official said.

The fire was accidental, possibly electrical, said Ray Griswold, New Hanover County fire investigator.

Deputy Chief Matt Davis of New Hanover County Fire Rescue said the 911 call was received about 4 p.m.
