WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says if there’s misconduct at the Department of Veterans Affairs, it will be punished.

Obama says if the allegations of misconduct prove to be true, it is dishonorable and disgraceful. He says, quote, “I will not tolerate it, period.”

Obama says he won’t stand for people covering up long wait times or cooking the books. He says no Americans should.

But Obama is also asking for patience while investigators get to the bottom of what happened.

Obama spoke after an Oval Office meeting with VA Secretary Eric Shinseki and top aide Rob Nabors. Obama has tasked Nabors, his deputy chief of staff, with overseeing a review of the VA health system.

So the VA sucked for the past several years because last year for a couple of weeks “non essential” workers got paid vacation?

Is this your pathetic argument?

The VA has sucked for many years, as stated in my post above, because for years our government has worried about spending money on some useless out of date fighter planes or starting unfunded and unnecessary wars with no thought of how they were going to take care of our veterans once they came home in need of physical or mental care. But you just go ahead and pat yourself on the back, slap on that bumper sticker, wrap yourself in that flag, and talk about how you “Support the Troops”. Then head out to the polls and continue to vote for the party that cuts funding to veterans EVERY CHANCE THEY GET. ‘Murica.

Your lack of intelligence knows no bounds. If you were a message board troll who made these comments, they would be funny. The fact that you say these things and actually believe and mean them makes it hilarious. Thanks for the laughs.

I’m sorry, but didn’t he say that about the IRS? And then he turned around and said there was not a “smidgen of evidence” of any wrongdoing only to have e-mails released later that showed more of a waterfall than a smidgen of evidence there was wrongdoing.

When is America going to tire of lying politicians and bureaucrats?
