BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — Burgaw Police have arrested a teen and are looking for another in connection to more than a dozen car break-ins this spring.

Police arrested Michael Scott Rivenbark, 17, yesterday afternoon in connection with the crimes that have happened since March. Rivenbark was booked under $255,000 bond charged for 19 felony motor vehicle break-ins, 11 felony counts of possession of stolen property, 13 misdemeanor larcenies and two misdemeanor counts of possession of stolen property

Investigators also have warrants for Tyrekic Murphy, 17, of Burgaw. If you know where he is, call the Burgaw Police Department at (910) 259-4924 or your local law enforcement agency.

Police also want any other potential victims to report the crimes so they can fully investigate this crime spree.

Great job finding these guys Burgaw PD. The citizens are thankful even if the town management isn’t.
