I’ve been to Wilmington once. And I don’t know anyone from Wilmington. But seeing that video clip means that everything is right with the world.

Young men living the dream, even if the dream is to hang up the spikes in the near future.

A dog as a bat boy… priceless. Homey, hokey, silly, and totally makes the world okay.

Fans in the stands just enjoying the evening, w/o A/C and TV.

Do you understand that what is in this video is what Field of Dreams tried to capture?

Thank you for that breath of fresh air among what are often negative comments, had to smile at the clip AND your reply :) I hope you can return and enjoy Wilmington again!

Did any of you know that in 1944, the New York Yankees hired Count Dracula’s son…to be their “Bat Boy”?
One more thing…when the Bat Boy’s church got into financial trouble…the Government gave them a “Christian Bail”!!!!!
