Rail repairs to shut down lane on Wrightsville Beach bridge over Banks Channel

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) -- Repairs to the Wrightsville Beach bridge over Banks Channel will close down one lane Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.

According to the NCDOT, crews will be working on a maintenance project on the US 76 bridge there to work on a rail that was damaged in an accident, weather permitting.

The westbound lane on the bridge will be shut down at 9 p.m. Wednesday through 5 a.m. Thursday.
