WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington man is behind bars under a $100,000 bond after police arrested him on a warrant from Johnston County.
Last month police say Brad Venticinque, 31, was driving west on I-40 when he hit the median, overcorrected and hit a guard wire severing the arm of his passenger Zachary Hunter, 19, also of Wilmington.
Monday, officers were led to a home where Venticinque was hiding in. While searching the home investigators noticed damage to the ceiling and found Venticinque in the attic under insulation.
According to the New Hanover County Jail's website, Venticinque is charged with felony hit and run and driving while license revoked.
