DWI hearing delayed for ex-head of WHA


A court hearing on an impaired driving charge for the former head of the Wilmington Housing Authority has been continued.

Michael Krause, the authority's former chief executive officer, had a court date scheduled for Thursday.

DWI hearings are almost guaranteed to be postponed or "continued" as the term is said.

Here's a back to back, double DWI case in Watauga Co. that has been continued no less than 10 times over a nearly 3 year period and has STILL not been heard by a judge (and he isn't even a public figure, just a criminal with access to money)!
