Durham police investigate bus explosion

DURHAM, NC (AP) -- Durham police are investigating an apparent chemical explosion on a city bus.

Police were called to a bus around 9:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said the driver reported that a man got on the bus with a jug and when the man got off the bus later, the jug exploded. The police statement called it a "Draino Bomb."

Police said one passenger was treated for exposure to the chemicals. Officials said the bus was not seriously damaged.

No arrests have been made.
