Police issue warrants for weekend shooting suspects

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Wilmington Police are looking for two suspects in a shooting Sunday.

Police issued warrants for Jakia Imani Boney, 24, and Hykeem Quintell Durant, 24. The warrants are for assault with a deadly weapon, Going armed to the terror of the public and injury to personal property.

The victim told police Boney and Durant fired several shots at him after an argument. The shooting happened in the Creekwood Housing community around 6:30 p.m. near 702 N. 30th Street.

Police don't have a picture of Boney on file.
