WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It was a day of celebrating life after 50 at the Wilmington Convention Center. The 50+ Coastal Lifestyles Expo featured free seminars, health screenings, giveaways, and plenty of vendors including WWAY.

Many stopped by our booth sharing stories of the station’s past. One of those, Judy switzer, says she is an avid WWAY watcher, and a proud 65-year-old.

“My husband and I are retired and just seeing if there was something we could do to add to our life, our quality of life,” Judy Switzer.

Others say seniors are often overlooked, and it’s refreshing to see so many opportunities for those over 50.
