How does this have anything to do with the former sheriff? The law states that a felon is not allowed to have or carry a gun. It is against the law regardless of who you are. I'm sure if this man physically tries to fight an officer he too will be tazed. The laws are set in place for a reason. I'm not above it, you're not above it, this mans not above it, nor was Ronald Hewett. Just because you're a good person doesn't mean you can get away with anything and everything. I for one, am thankful for all the hard working police officers who are putting their lives on the line in hopes to keep our streets safe knowing that they will be subject to ridicule even though they are merely doung their jobs. Here's something, don't want to be subject to arrest, don't break the law. Seems pretty simple to me.

What a complete idiot. Felon with a gun is no surprise. There's a lot of bad news coverage out there right now! Seems like the news stations could cover a positive story. Felons with guns and robbing is everyday.....duh!

This monster will be out cruising around, in less then two weeks. He'll be coming soon, to a neighborhood, near you.

" possession of a firearm by a felon"? wow what a surprise. Now lets see if this thug is treated better then the former sheriff who was minding his own business in his home with that same charge.

If he doesn't enter the day room in his boxers, refuse to comply with deputies' commands or become aggressive, then he shouldn't have anything to worry about, especially if he doesn't have cardiomyopathy.

Are you referring to Saint Ron Of Hewett, the patron saint of all those caught in possession of illegal firearms?

LETS SEE,DOESNT PAY TAXES,FREE HOUSING,FOOD STAMPS,FREE PHONE,DOESNT PAY CHILD SUPPORT,FREE MEDICAL ECT.. I MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG.WE WILL SUPPORT HIM AND WHATEVER CHILDREN HE HAS WHILE HE IS IN OR OUT OF JAIL.NO MATTER WHAT COLOR,RACE,RELIGION...ECT, JUST WRONG!!

How do you know he recieves all those things ...do you work at dss or are you assuming this because he's african american ...smh at ignorance ..

Repeat offender, felon with a weapon, running from police again. I don't know of too many well off tax paying bill paying non stealing non killing non dealing food stamp collecting Caucasian Americans who make the news everyday. It's always the dope slinging gang bangers who say "it's the only life I ever know!" BS. I'm tired of all this crap. Join the army, I did. Join the fire dept, I did. There is a way out of the gangs and ghettos. Saving lives and making a difference is the life I chose, and I knew many diff paths that I could take.

I'm the woman he robbed on July 16th...very sad he caught all those extra charges along with armed robbery. I'm 8 months pregnant an they held a gun to my chest an stole my purse with all my bill money in it

"i" before "e" except after "c" and sometimes "y".

Click his name. He gave the Highway Patrol a race, just six months ago. No telling what news story he will create, six months from now.
