Wilmington Police search for armed robber

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Wilmington Police are looking for the man who robbed a store and assaulted two female clerks Friday night.

Lt. Fanta, with the WPD, says a man with a gun forced his way into the Shipyard Blvd/Carolina Beach road store at closing time. He made the employees take him to the safe and then pistol-whipped them.

Police say the armed robber then ran off. He dropped some of the money on the way out. The two clerks were taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Police say they are in stable condition.

Police are searching for the suspect. He is described as a black male in his mid-30s. He had a heavy build and was wearing all black.

Hopefully when they catch this scum, they shoot and kill him.

That's too easy for him

He didn't just steal the money; he also took a little sicko self-gratification break and pistol whipped two women.

Don't just shoot him; that's too easy for him. Pistol whip this piece of human garbage until permanently disfigured, then incarcerate him in a cell of wall-to-wall stainless steel mirrors.
