Man arrested after stabbing another in the chest outside restaurant


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- A Wilmington man is in jail after police say he stabbed another man in the chest in front of a College Road restaurant.

They say the stabbing happened after an altercation between the two men outside of Katy's Grill and Bar, where police say bouncers outside recognized the suspect.

Police say they tracked down Santos Barrios, 45, around 6:30 a.m. Sunday. Barrios is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He is in the New Hanover County Jail under a $7,500 secured bond.

The price

....for being able to walk around and almost take someone's life is $7500.Small price to pay to be able to terrorize your community. Somehow I think it should be more.

If only he had a some drugs

If only he had a some drugs on him, his bond would be like $500,000. Drugs are bad. But trying to kill someone, not as bad apparently.
