WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Firefighters say flames are out after a fire sparked at a vacant beach home early this morning.

Fire crews say they got the call about smoke coming from a Wrightsville Beach home at 108 Water Street just after 4 a.m. They say the flames were mostly contained just after 5 a.m., as firefighters continued looking to find what caused the fire.

Fire crews say no one was hurt in the fire. They say the beach home was vacant, so no one was home at the time.
