BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) –- More bonuses are coming for employees of Brunswick County Schools.
According to a news release from Brunswick County Schools, the Brunswick County School Board approved its 2014-2015 budget Thursday.
The budget will include an increase in the local supplement schedule that will benefit all employees. Teachers will receive an additional $200 annually, assistant principals, principals, and central services administration will get $500 annually, and all classified employees receive an additional 1.5% of their annual salary.
School Finance Officer Freyja Cahill expressed gratitude to the Board for their review and revision to the supplement schedule and stated, “I am especially excited about the classified employee supplement increase because it has not changed in so many years.”
