Davenport won 55 WTA Tour Titles in singles and 38 WTA Tour Titles in doubles, is tied for seventh on most tour title wins of all time, is an Olympic Gold Medalist and was the first player to surpass the $22 Million Dollar mark in prize money, taking the honor from legendary player Steffi Graf.

Legends of Tennis will take place the weekend of September 19-20 and will follow a similar format with Friday evening match play and Saturday match play followed by the Grand Slam Party held at the Landfall Clubhouse. Courtside VIP tables, which includes four seats for both days of tennis action and tickets to the Grand Slam Party, are on sale now. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Legends is open to the general public.
Proceeds from the 2014 Legends of Tennis event will also benefit the UNCW Men’s and Women’s Tennis Programs via the Seahawk Club, as they have been partners and beneficiaries since the event’s inception.
Davenport was scheduled to appear for the 2013 Legends of Tennis but could not attend as she was expecting her fourth child.
