BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — What’s Valentine’s Day without flowers?

With just three days until the day of love, Cape Fear florists are working overtime.

That includes the staff at Sweet Nectar’s Florist in Leland.

Owner Steve Kennedy said despite all the hard work filling orders and putting together arrangements, it’s worth it.

“I love this business, its the business of making people happy,” said Kennedy. “Most everybody has a sweetheart and they need to get their orders in early.”

Kennedy said they ordered tropical flowers just in time for Valentine’s day. It’s something different from the traditional dozen roses.
