CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — It is that time of year again when you have to pull out your wallet as you head to Carolina Beach.
Town leaders say paid parking started over the weekend. The rates are the same as last year, $1.50 an hour for public parking and parking meters with a maximum of $8 a day.
Also, if you have a furry friend, Carolina Beach is allowing leashed dogs on the beach. But, it has to be before 9:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m.
Paid parking begins April 1st and runs until October 1st each year.
Another beach enforcing paid parking, Wrightsville Beach which started March 1st.
