BATAVIA, N.Y. (AP) -- Three people in custody in western New York are wanted in connection with the slaying of a man in North Carolina. New York State Police say suspects Daniel Wolff of Batavia and John Brant of Friendship were arrested Monday after being pulled over while driving a car belonging to 49-year-old Dana Davis of Morganton, North Carolina. Police in western North Carolina say they found Davis' body inside his home around the same time Wolff and Brant were taken into custody in Batavia. Both men face murder charges in North Carolina. A third suspect, Malinda Falk of Batavia, is charged in New York as a fugitive from justice. Police believe robbery was a motive for the killing. (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press.
