3-week-old infant found in active NC meth lab

READ MORE:
NEWTON, N.C. -- A 3-week-old baby boy found living in an active methamphetamine lab in North Carolina has been taken into the custody of social services. Newton Police Chief Don Brown told The Observer-News-Enterprise that more than 50 pounds of toxic methamphetamine ingredients were found in a home in Newton. Brown said it's likely the infant was in areas where the lab was set up. Brown said the three suspects include the infant's mother. Their names haven't been released. The Catawba County Department of Social Services has custody of the infant. Newton Police Capt. Kevin Yarborough said he believed the lab was the first confirmed lab within city limits. Police found the lab Tuesday after getting a tip. (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)

what ashameeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

When i hear something like this i am very upset. How dare them put a child in danger. This child should not be giving back.what about the child. They should have none better. People wake up...

I hope they all are charged

I hope they all are charged with felony's amd child endangerment...

I agree

As a mother I don't understand people who would put their children in that kind of environment. And the worst part is that with the way North Carolina social services is they will end up giving that baby back to that unfit mother. The state needs to charge the mother and put the baby in a home where he will be cared for properly.
