Barber shop gets free renovations, now paying it forward

video Bigg Redd's Barber Shop on the corner of 4th and Brunswick streets in downtown Wilmington recently received free renovations from Coastal Construction Company, now they are paying it forward by giving children under 12 free hair cuts Saturday.

Insurance commissioner rejects industry request to raise homeowner's rates

video Homeowners in southeastern North Carolina should expect lower insurance rates starting next summer. It comes after North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Wayne Goodwin rejected the insurance industry's request to raise homeowner's insurance rates by an average of about 25 percent.
