Authorities in Brunswick County arrested an Ash man Friday evening after a joint investigation. David Raefore Tripp, Jr. of Russetown Road was arrested on two counts of Possession of Firearm by a felon. Tripp was convicted in 1997 of felony child abuse resulting in serious injury. Full story...

A Wilmington teen is not your average student. Anthony Gregory, 16, is graduating this year from Isaac Bear Early College. The exceptional student has enough high school credits to get his diploma. While volunteering with Needham Animal Hospital in Wilmington, Gregory is also working on his senior project about pet health and exercise.
