Tomorrow Wilmington's Verizon Wireless Call Center will host its annual Electronics Recycling Rally.
Everything Verizon collects is sent to recyclers who dispose of the items and has zero effect on landfills.

A UNC student from Wilmington died earlier this year after ingesting dust cleaner, the effects of which were likely made worse by an underlying heart condition, according to a report from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

A Black Bear was found dead on the side of Highway 87 near South Brunswick High School Wednesday morning. Witnesses say the Black Bear was hit by a vehicle some time on Tuesday night, ultimately killing it.
