City leaders hear from public on improvement project at Inland Greens Golf Course

The city of Wilmington heard from the public tonight as the city moves forward with plans to revamp Inland Greens golf course. The purpose of tonight's meeting was to hear from members of the public on which park amenities they want.

A bumpy ride home for a couple of New Hanover County school busses. Highway Patrol says two busses were involved in a fender bender on Castle Hayne Road at Victoria Drive this afternoon.

Family of 5-year-old boy says shark bit him at North Myrtle Beach

The family of a 5-year-old Walkersville, Md., boy says he was bitten in the leg by a shark off North Myrtle Beach, but authorities aren't sure what kind of animal bit the child.

Local preacher dies Sunday during sermon

Jessie F. Graham, perhaps the longest-serving member of the Columbus County Board of Elections, died Sunday. He was 78. Graham, a longtime minister at Myrtle Grove First born Church of the Living God in New Hanover county, collapsed in the pulpit.
