Rally to support ballpark plan, raise money for Miracle Field

Port City Baseball is hosting a rally at Hell's Kitchen to support a proposed ballpark in Wilmington. The event will also raise money to build a Miracle Field, which is a special baseball field that allows handicapped children and adults enjoy the national pastime.

Two arrested for home invasion, three more suspects wanted

Sheriff's deputies have arrested two people and are searching for three more in connection to a violent home invasion last month in New Hanover County. Owen Hobson Morgan, 22, and Kristina Hanne Steenberg, 21, are charged with multiple felonies, including kidnapping and assault by pointing a gun.
