Wilmington couple gets federal prison sentence

A Wilmington couple will spend years behind bars on federal drug and firearms charges. A federal judge sentenced Maurice Lott to more than eight years and Jessica Lott to more than two years after they pleaded guilty in January.

South Columbus tied East Columbus 1-1, while Whiteville shutout North Brunswick 7-0. We also took a look at some local boys tennis action between Cape Fear Academy and Laney High School.

FBI steps in to investigate Chadbourn shooting death, neighbor relives tragic day

video Jasmine Thar was shot and killed outside of a Chadbourn home last December and nearly four months later no one has been arrested. The shooter claims it was an accident, but now state and federal investigators are involved.
