All-time winningest coach Summitt steps aside

Pat Summitt is stepping aside as Tennessee's women's basketball coach and taking the title of "head coach emeritus". UNCW men's basketball coach Buzz Peterson used to coach with Summitt at Tennessee. "One of the best basketball minds to ever coach the game, Peterson texted WWAY about Summitt. "She was such a tremendous communicator with her players. I was blessed to work beside her and to eat her excellent country cooking."

Break-in suspect nabbed by alert K-9 cop

Wilmington Police say a K-9 officer and his dog nabbed a man believed to have committed five breaking and enterings and attempted break-ins in the past week.
