VOTE 2012: Architect Forest looks to build on business background in run for Lt. Gov

Dan Forest has never held political office, but he's no stranger to politics. The architect is the son of retiring US Rep. Sue Myrick, but he says his mother hasn't offered him any advice on his run for Lt. Governor. Instead, he hopes his experience out of politics as a businessman will help him reach his goal in state government, which he says needs to be run more like a business.
