Pantano, Rouzer tangle over immigration amnesty

Seventh District Congressional candidate Ilario Pantano is calling out his opponent state Sen. David Rouzer. Pantano held a news conference today to show video of Rouzer discussing his role in support of amnesty for illegal aliens. Pantano claims he has hounded Rouzer for six months trying to get him to admit the truth.

Beach town leaders discuss $60M in coastal projects

video The Army Corps of Engineers says it is going to work on $60 million worth of projects this year in and around the Cape Fear waterways. That's good news for many elected leaders of beach towns in New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender Counties. They say beach renourishment and dredging are critical to both the local and regional economy.

WPD arrests 8 from NJ for heroin ring

For the second time in a week Wilmington Police say they've taken a load of heroin off the streets. Police arrested eight people from New Jersey after uncovering a large heroin trafficking ring here in the Port City.
