A popular national Asian fusion restaurant chain may make an appearance in the Port City. Officials with Scottsdale, Ariz.-based P.F. Chang’s confirmed Wednesday that the company is “evaluating” the Wilmington market.

Crews working on Wrightsville Beach drawbridge until 5 p.m.

Traffic off of Wrightsville Beach could be slowed through the afternoon today. The North Carolina Department of Transportation has closed the westbound right lane of US 74/76 at the Wrightsville Beach Drawbridge over the Intracoastal Waterway until 5 p.m. to perform bridge maintenance.

News 14 Carolina will show the Azalea Festival Parade live on Saturday, April 14 from 9:30 am – noon in the coastal areas served by Time Warner Cable. The parade will also be available throughout the Carolinas on Carolina On Demand (channels 199 and 1047) within a few days of the live event.
