The girlfriend of a man found shot in his home last week is facing drug charges.
New Hanover County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Andrea Wood on marijuana charges. Her boyfriend Geoffrey Graham was murdered August 17.

Twenty-four-year-old Brian Foster decided to ride his bike from Astoria, Oregon to Wrightsville Beach. He had a tent and sleeping mat with him and stopped at camp grounds to sleep.

Because of all the dry weather cattle farmers in the region are having trouble producing enough hay to feed their herds. They say if they can't solve this problem soon, they may loose their herds altogether.

New Hanover County schools start Monday, and some classes won't be held in classrooms at all.
The brand new Ogden Elementary School cost $15 million. Still, some classes will be held in trailers outside of the school.
