A Castle Hayne man remains behind bars Monday morning accused of slitting a man's throat. It happened around six Saturday morning. The assault happened at 6005 Orange Street in Castle Hayne. The victim's roommate recounts how it all unfolded.

It's been called a den of criminal activity. Two men were arrested on drug-related charges Sunday afternoon from a Wilmington home police know well.
It's part of a new crime-fighting philosophy from the Wilmington Police Department called geographical-based policing.

Twenty-one-year-old Justin Toliver was swimming in a sand pit filled with water when witnesses say he got tired and disappeared. Rescue teams searched under water for Toliver's body for hours, and found it around 1:15 a.m.
