Grooms case goes to jury

East Bladen head football coach Lenon Fisher wanted to wait until Thursday to announce his retirement plans, but word slipped out today that the veteran coach will step down as the Eagles head football coach. Fisher has been the football coach in Elizabethtown since 1980.

The Port City is the feature of an eight-page spread in "Garden and Gun," which combines gardening with outdoor sports in a decidedly southern flavor.
