A North Carolina couple received a magical surprise this week. A copy of J.K. Rowling's final Harry Potter book arrived in the mail. An online retailer mistakenly shipped about 3,000 copies of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" several days too early.

A shark bite at North Topsail Beach Yesterday was the second in two days off North Carolina beaches. Fourteen year-old Matthew Baker was only up to his knees in the ocean yesterday when a shark bit his calf.

Two Oak Island teens are behind bars tonight charged with murder. Authorities arrested the teens Wednesday morning on drug charges. Less than 24 hours later they had enough evidence to charge them with Phillip Cook's murder. Police will not say what evidence they have against 18-year-old Joshua Caudill and 19-year-old James Martin.

If a hurricane hit our coast would you know where to go? A new coastal evacuation plan is currently in the works. The new evacuation plan would let people know exactly where to go when evacuation orders are given, in the event of a category 4 or 5 storm.
