Drivers unaware of road construction on Oleander Drive in Wilmington were in for a rude awakening today. Part of the busy road is closed at the railroad tracks near Dawson Street.

North Carolina gets passing grade on corruption risk

video The grades are in for the year-long State Integrity investigation looking at the risk of corruption across the United States. Several of the 50 states received an F. Not one scored an A. The Tar Heel State fell in the middle.

Forum focuses on saving homeowners from foreclosure

video Rep. Mike McIntyre says fighting foreclosure is one of the most pressing issues before us as a nation. Experts say cases are all to common in the Cape Fear as well. Today McIntyre hosted a Foreclosure Prevention Forum in Brunswick County to try and tackle the problem head on.
