Leland, Bald Head fire departments get federal money

Two fire departments in Brunswick County are getting help from the federal government. Leland Fire Rescue and the Bald Head Island Fire Department are each getting money from the the US Department of Homeland Security for operations and safety improvements.

Historic Wilmington Foundation loans Children's Museum money for restoration

The Children's Museum of Wilmington is getting some help taking care of its home. The Historic Wilmington Foundation is loaning the museum $23,000 for restoration.

videoOn Tuesday night we went in-depth on UNCW's victory over nationally ranked NC State in men's tennis. UNCW is currently ranked #43. The Wolfpack is #21. We also made a stop at Brogden Hall in order to check out the New Hanover boys basketball team. The Wildcats will play for the 4-A state championship on Saturday in Raleigh.
