video Even through the holidays the ongoing saga involving a Brunswick County Commissioner continues. This week Commissioner Charles Warren filed a report with the Sheriff's Office. The incident report Warren filed yesterday says the commissioner felt threatened. In the report he says the attack came in the form of a YouTube video in his e-mail.

WWAY, DIRECTV reach agreement

Good news for anyone who watches WWAY on DIRECTV. Today WWAY's parent company, Morris Network, and DIRECTV agreed on a deal that means DIRECTV customers in southeastern North Carolina will continue to be able to watch WWAY.

FIRST ON 3: Area Sears, Kmart stores avoid closing list for now

Sears Holdings has announced some of the Sears and Kmart stores it will close as a way to save hundreds of millions of dollars. The list of 79 stores does not include any in the Cape Fear.

This week is historically one of the biggest weeks for generosity as people donate money and used items to charities to claim the donation on their taxes for the year.
