video On Friday night on WWAY we featured a preview of the 18th Annual Leon Brogden Holiday Basketball Tournament that will tip off on Monday at UNCW's Trask Coliseum. Eight high school basketball teams will be shooting for the title. One of the teams already has a tournament title this month. Hoggard won the Shootout by the Sea in Myrtle Beach on Friday. We also showcased the Clemson Tigers on Friday's 11pm sports. They're coached by Brad Brownell(former UNCW head basketball coach).

video The Leon Brogden Holiday Tournament features eight high school basketball teams, four from Wilmington and four from out of town. It's a fun hoops event that fits right in the middle of the holiday season. In fact it starts the day after Christmas on the campus of UNCW.
