Family of wanted man says armed agents were too much

video Yesterday we told you armed federal agents surrounded a home in Castle Hayne as they tried to execute an arrest warrant. The man they were looking for, Gary Canady, was not in the home, and today the US Marshals Service continues to look for him.

Berger escorted from DSS Board meeting

video New Hanover County Commissioner Brian Berger was escorted out of a DSS Board meeting today. Berger, who fellow commissioners removed from several boards, including DSS, yesterday, says what is happening to him is against the law.

Brunswick commissioners push for voter ID

There's a new local fight to require voters to show a photo identification before casting a ballot. At Monday night's Brunswick County Commission meeting, commissioners adopted a resolution to ask lawmakers to revisit the idea.
