FIRST ON 3: Police using SABLE Helicopter to track down suspect

A vehicle break-in this morning in the parking lot of the Mill Creek Apartments off Kerr Avenue in Wilmington prompted Wilmington Police to call on SABLE to find their suspect.

Police not sure where, why NHHS student shot near campus

Wilmington Police say a New Hanover High senior was shot in the leg near the school and was taken to the hospital. Police are still trying to figure out exactly where the shooting happened and just what happened to send a young woman to the hospital and close down the school.
